The 7th round of the Russian Rally Cup - "Blue Lakes - 2009" - will be held in the Pskov region on May, 2nd. Two G-Force Motorsport crews will take part in the race.

Boris Gadasin/Vladimir Demyanenko- their crew takes part in the Russian Cup classification under start number 6. They will drive Mitsubishi Lancer EvoVI in the national category 4000H (out-fashioned 2-litre GroupN vehicles).

Alexey Denisov/Dmitriy Kozhukhov- they will drive the rally as a safety ("zero") crew and will help organisers by checking the route. Their vehicle will be Nissan Patrol GR of the cross-country T2 Group, behind the wheel of which they were leading the "Northern Forest" Baja 2009 for quite much time.

The organisers should introduce a special category "rally-raids" and award prizes to the competitors from cross-country disciplines, as each time there's more and more rally-raid crews taking part in rally events. In the entry list for "Blue Lakes" there're 4 such crews, with one more serving as a zero car... Is it somehow connected to the nature of Russian roads? We shall see, however the gravel roads in the Pskov region are known to be smooth when dry and very slippery and difficult when it's raining...
